Feline Medicine Clinic

West Park Animal Hospital recognizes that all pets are different and require personalized care. To deliver the highest quality care to pets throughout Cleveland, Ohio, and the surrounding areas, we offer an exclusive cat treatment area and cat ward designed to meet the needs of your feline companion. Our feline medicine clinic allows cats to receive care in a veterinary facility that provides them, as well as their owners, with feelings of safety, comfort, and security.

The Importance of Cat Care

Some pet owners are reluctant to bring their cats to the vet. As a cat owner, you’re probably already familiar with the challenges of getting cats into their carriers. This can be one reason why some cat owners may avoid going to the vet altogether. There are also many misconceptions about cat health care needs.

However, cats often hide their pain. This makes it difficult to tell when they are sick. For these reasons and more, routine visits to a veterinary facility are essential for your cat’s health.

An Animal Hospital Made with Cats in Mind

West Park Animal Hospital offers services that make receiving care a more comfortable experience for cats. We do this by providing a cat ward and treatment area separate from our canine companions. Without separation, curious dogs may sniff around cat carriers or bark. This can heighten a cat’s anxiety when they may already be stressed. By separating dogs and cats, all pets at our veterinary facility can achieve the care they need in a calm atmosphere.

Our feline medicine clinic is located on the second floor and holds six feline exam rooms. There is a separate treatment area for routine care and hospital visits, plus a designated lobby for cats and their owners. Our cat ward has 24 kennels attached to the feline treatment area, featuring a large long window so we can consistently monitor your furry family member. Elevator access also makes it easy to bring pets upstairs for their appointments.

Additionally, West Park Animal Hospital promotes pet owner education. That’s why our lobby and exam rooms have TV monitors that share valuable cat health and wellness information.
